What is the difference between Trader and Investor or Investing and Trading?

Friends, you have often heard that people who invest in a stock for a long time are investors and those who buy the stock for a short time are traders.
But actually this is not the right definition of investor and trader.
It has often been seen that people who invest in stocks for a long time, their returns are either negative or average, because people do not invest thoughtfully, they actually get stuck in that stock for some reason and keep it in their portfolio, and say that I am a long term investor.
(If you do not know how people get stuck in a stock, then you can know by visiting my old blog, whose link is given below.)
Now let us understand what is the difference between investing and trading?
If you speak in simple word, then investing is the work, in which you have a view on any stock, it doesn't matter how long you want to keep that stock,
The day your view of the stocks finishes, that day you are out of that stock.
Let's understand it more deeply.
Suppose you have seen that there is some kind of land that is for sale and in the coming time an airport will be built there, and when the airport is built then the price of that land will increase, then you buy that land Keep it with you, and now if there will be an airport there, then you will benefit in it, but if you came to know that the airport that was to be built there will not be built now,

what will you do, it is simple, the rate at which that land will be sold, you will sell it by booking your loss or profit. Because the view you created has changed now.
Similarly, investors invest in the stock market.
Investors have their own view of a stock, and if a company works according to their view, then fine,
If the company is not doing according to their view, then he is get out of the stock.

But the trader does not do that, he sees what the price of a stock is? and according to his chart or any news, what kind of movement the stock will be? he puts his bet accordingly.
When he gets profit or his stoploss gets hit, then he comes out of that stock.
he has not any view of the stock,
They doesn't care, what is the business or fundamental of the company. They only bet on the movement of the stock.
Friends, hope you have now understood what the difference between trading and investing is?
